Dear Fellow Adamsonians and Friends
Greetings to all !
After the success of our 3 Basic Photography Seminar in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and Advanced Photography Seminar last September 18, 2009 in Flora Creek Apartment Hotel ,and due to insisted demands , We will be having another One Day Advanced Photography Seminar on October 10,2009 at Flora Creek Apartment Hotel, Deira Dubai.
One of the objective of our AUAA-UAE is to raise fund for the association and to support the Scholarship program of the club. Currently the Board of Directors of AUAA-UAE sponsored 1 poor but deserving student to study for FREE in Adamson University and some of the successful Alumni here in AUE sponsored scholars to study in their Alma Mater.
We will also provide trainings and seminars on various subjects that will interest our members. We are pleased to advise you that we have lined up several trainings/seminars/activities for this year. The series of trainings and seminars will be advised to all in due course.
ADVANCED PHOTOGRAPHY SEMINAR in Dubai

Timings : 08:00 am - 2:00 pm
Reg. Fee : 100 dhs
Advanced Photography Seminar will cover the following :
· Camera Metering
· Composition
· Lighting
· Flash Photography
· Intro to Basic Photoshop CS
Pre-requisite: Knowledge on Basic Photography (you should know the parts of the camera and how it operates, basic composition & exposure)
Bring:
- Digital SLR (required)
- Flash
- Laptop (optional)

Seminar open to members, their relatives and friends. Alumni members are entitled to 20% discount. Snack, coffee/tea, and buffet lunch included.
About the lecturer:
Luis Portugalis one of the Board of Director of AUAA-UAE and a founding member of Emirates Airline Photography Club and is currently the Head of Training of the same. He has conducted numerous photography trainings to audience of different nationalities. Prior to this role, he was Director of Advance Photography Course with Lightform International, a Filipino photography club based in Dubai.
